Luche gazed out the window at the black seas crashing on the yellow clay beach. Pensively she brushed her cheek tentacles with a pen plume from her pet canrocter, Lun. The tide was ultra high on Lucios with the pull of three near aligned moons above.

The silver shelter wall shook as a giant wave crashed with violent fury. Lun laid her wet nose on one of Luche’s legs and whimpered to be fed.

With a sigh, Luche got up and followed the happy waving plumes to Lun’s food dish. Somewhere, there was a story to be set in ink.
