How could he churn out light and radiate all around him, yet feel so cold and alone. How could a whisper of discontentment bring about such sadness. His thoughts lashed around the young star at his side, she flickered and faded, wanting to fall, to burn up…to once again feel the cool earth on her cheek. To escape her star shaped cell.
